Hamna Amjad earns 2nd FEGA Ladies Golf Championship crown

Among several participating golfers, Hamna Amjad stands as the title winner of the 2019 FEGA Ladies Golf Championship which successfully concluded at Islamabad Golf Course.

The three-round FEGA Ladies Golf Championship 2019 wound up successfully with a stunning title win from PAF Skyview Golf Club's Hamna Amjad, whose skills were splendid as the 13 year old, earned a three day aggregate of 245 with the scores of 84, 80 and 81 beating her nearest rival and proficient lady golfer of the country, Ania Farooq of Karachi Airmen Golf Club by a margin of eight strokes.

Ania Farooq was once again seen failing in her performance as her capabilities are far beyond success. Her game play was too weak in the first round as she managed to score only 91 but then over the next two rounds she improved with the scores of 84 and 78.

As Hamna was crowned with the title of the championship, Ania took the Runner up spot and Suneyah Osama from PAF Skyview Golf Club secured third position.

In handicap category 14-24, Syeda Imam Ali from Gymkhana took the top spot and emerged as the best one in Net section while Tehmina Rashid of Islamabad earned Gross event's top position. She was followed by Shahzadi Gulfam of Garrison Golf Club on the Runner up spot whereas Rawalpindi's Rafaqat Abjad settled for the third position.

Islamabad's Zeenat Ayesha managed to win the 2nd Net spot whereas Nida Haq of Karachi Golf Club took the 3rd Net position.

The top position grabbers were awarded with glittering trophies and prize pursues by the wife of Air Chief Marshal, Mrs Mujahid Anwer Khan, as she was the honorable chief guest at the closing ceremony of this event.

This championship was managed by Women and duly supported by the President of Pakistan Golf Federation, Lt Gen (r), Hilal Hussain who is ardent and earnest about development of women’s golf in Pakistan.
