Pakistani pro-gamer, Arslan Siddiqui becomes EVO 2019 Worlds Tekken 7 champion

Arslan Siddiqui is the first gamer to become the unified EVO champion for Tekken 7 in Evolution Championship Series 2019 which successfully wrapped up in Las Vegas, USA.

The biggest tournament for fighting video games, EVO just wrapped up in Las Vegas, USA, and it featured all our favorite fighting games as the Evolution Championship Series (Evo for short) represents the largest and longest-running fighting game tournaments in the world.

From Mortal Kombat to Street Fighter V to Tekken 7, players from all over the world came down to show off their skills and prove that they are the best at their game. 

Where players from so many nations were competing for top honors in this mega, action filled international championship, Pakistani pro-gamer, Arslan Siddique took home the championship for Tekken 7. His win was one epic watch for the FGC (Fighting Game Community).

While the best players for Tekken 7 usually hail from South Korea, Arslan beat South Korea's Knee in the grand finals, using Kazumi for his victory.


Arslan, known as Arslan Ash, had previously also won the second Evo Japan in February, becoming the first ever unified EVO champion. He is not the first Pakistani but the first gamer. To his incredible and stunning win for the nation in such a latest sport, he said,
"I feel like I've done something unbelievable, I'm just so proud and happy."
