32 probables finalised for Sultan Azlan Shah Cup

The national selection committee on Monday shortlisted 32 probables for the 25th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup to be played in Ipoh, Malaysia, from April 6-16.

The probables were selected from the training camp of the national hockey team which was held in Islamabad. The second phase of the camp is in progress at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore.

Probables:

Goalkeepers: Imran Butt, Amjad Ali and Mazhar Abbas; Full-backs: Syed Kashif Shah, Mohammad Aleem Bilal, Asad Aziz, Muhammad Irfan and Niwaz Ishfaq; Halves: M Rizwan Jr, Mohammad Toseeq, Fareed Ahmed, Rashid Mahmood, Tasawar Abbas, Faisal Qadir, Ali Hussain, Saleem Nazim, Kashif Javed and Ammad Butt; Forwards: M Umar Bhutta, M Irfan Jr, Arsalan Qadir, Ali Shan, Rizwan Sr, Ijaz  Ahmad, Rizwan Ali, Abdul Haseem Khan, Karim Khan, Awais-ur-Rehman, Fiaz Yaqoob, Jamil Bostan, Hamidullah Khan, Awais Khan and Taimoor Malik.
