WAPDA & PAF takes early game heroics at 28th National Football Challenge Cup

KPT and Police FCs lost to WAPDA and PAF respectively in the most recent matches played into the 2019 National Football Challenge Cup which is being held at Tehmash Khan Football Stadium in Peshawar.

 
The match started on fast tempo from WAPDA's side and it was it's talent player, Zubair Qadeer who slammed in a beautiful goal through an attempt at just 10th minutes into the match that he zoomed quickly toward and netted a fine goal to make the tally 1-0.  

After taking lead, WAPDA put in more pressure to double the lead in which the team got successful at the 23rd minute through Babar Khan making the half-time score 2-0 while the other side only was warned once for their foul play in the match's first half. 

WAPDA kept up more pressure in the second session to take the lead further and with the combined move of the team this time, Adnan Saeed netted a fine goal and made it a 3-0 lead for WAPDA.

From then on, the opponent team was absolutely unable to score for their side due to the excellent goal keeping and defence of team WAPDA players and thus the encounter finished in the favor of WAPDA on the final score line of 3-0.  

The second clash of the day was between the KPT and PAF teams in which PAF boys claimed an easy 2-0 win by defeating the vulnerable side of KPT team. 

Ali Raza was the player who saved PAF side against Pakistan Police team as he slammed in two goals for his team. The first half of the match remained goalless as both the teams fought their way into the game but Pakistan Police could not control the strong smashes and strucks at their goal post which benefited their rival team first market their goal at the 64th minute and soon after their first goal, Ali Raza once again slotted past several approaching opponent team players and landed the ball at the 86th minute to make it a 2-0 win for PAF team. 

NBP and Asia Ghee football teams were at battle in the third encounter where NBP team won by a score margin of 2-1 through great slams of Maqbool and Sher Ali.
