5 PAK players move into quarterfinals of ITF Pakistan World Junior Ranking Tennis Championship 2019

Five Pakistani players moved into the pre-quarter-finals of Syed Tajammul Abbas ITF Pakistan World Junior Ranking Tennis Championships at PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad.

In the first round of the boy's singles category, fifth seed Shoaib Khan beat wildcard Talal Alabdullah from Kuwait 6-4, 6-3 while top seed Huzaifa Abdul Rehman defeated unseeded Lucas Schurdevin from France 6-0, 6-3. 

Abdullah Adnan won against Cameron Austin Chang from the US 6-3, 6-4 while second seed Nauman Aftab overpowered Tamerlan Kalkenov from Kazakhstan 7-6(3), 6-1 and Zalan Khan defeated Kavisha Ratnayake from Sri Lanka 7-5, 6-3. 

In other matches, qualifier Tin Tran from Vietnam thrashed Talha Chaudhry from Pakistan 6-0, 6-0 and Luca Emanuel Knese from Germany smashed Muhammad Hadin from Pakistan 6-0, 6-0.

Seventh seed Ali Alshati from Kuwait beat Sameer Ahmad from Pakistan 6-1, 6-0, Togan Makzume from Turkey defeated Ahmar Saeed from Pakistan 6-1, 6-0, and eighth seed Bader Alabdullah from Kuwait won against Ahmed Kamil from Pakistan 6-3, 6-3.

Qualifier Hai Truong Vo from Vietnam beat wildcard Abdullah Abdullah from Pakistan 6-1, 6-3 and sixth seed Essa Qabazard from Kuwait defeated Waleed Anwar from Pakistan 6-3, 6-1.

Dogeon Park from South Korea thrashed Subhan Bin Salik from Pakistan 6-0, 6-2 and fourth seed Berk Ulas Enc from Turkey smashed wildcard Soo Hyun Kang from South Korea 6-1, 6-1. 

Taentawan Taddeo from Thailand beat qualifier Sami Zeb from Pakistan 6-1, 6-1 and Nathan Jattavapornvanit from Thailand stunned third seed Saqib Hayat from Pakistan 1-6, 6-4, 6-3.

In the first round of boys’ doubles category, the fourth seed Turkish pair of Berk Ulas Enc and Togan Makzume beat the duo of Zalan Khan from Pakistan and Lucas Schurdevin from France 6-2, 6-3.

The third seed Kuwaiti pair of Ali Alshati and Essa Qabazrd thrashed Lucas Emanuel Knese from Germany and Kavish Ratanauake from Sri Lanka 6-2, 6-1. The pair of Cameron Austin Chang from the US and Dogeon Park from Korea smashed the Pakistani duo of Waleed Anwar and Muhammad Hadin 6-0, 6-0.

The Vietnamese pair of Tin Tran and Hai Troung Vo beat the Pakistani duo of Sami Zeb Khan and Subhan Bin Salik 6-0, 6-3. The Kuwaiti pair of Alabdullah and Talal Alabdullah stunned the second seed Pakistani duo of Nauman Aftab and Saqib Hayat 6-3, 6-4.

The Pakistani pair of Abdullah Adnan and Ahmed Kamil overpowered the Thai duo of Nathan JKattavapornvanit and Taentawan Taddeo 6-4, 2-6(10-8).
