Pakistani MMA fighter, Tayyab Usmani to take on Philippine counterpart Alfredo Melendres in Aspera Fighting Championship Asia: 2 on 12th Jan.
Pakistan’s Muhammad Tayyab Usmani is all set to fight against his Philippine counterpart Alfredo Melendres in the 2nd Aspera Fighting Championship Asia, the fight will be staged on 12th January in Sagul Malingap Food Park, Manila, Philippines.
This will be Tayyab's first bout in Aspera FC Asia: 2 in which he is all set to take on Philippines counterpart Alfredo Melendres in a Lightweight bout.
Tayyab Usmani is considered as a rising fighter in Pakistan's MMA scene who had fought in Pakistan’s top Promotion Fighting Alliance as well. He has had won several medals while competing in kickboxing , Muay Thai and Ju Jitsu (BJJ) internationally.
While talking about the upcoming match, the fighter said: “I am thankful to Aspera FC Asia, for this opportunity and InshaAllah I am gonna win this fight and give Pakistani nation a New Years’ gift in the way of my success.”
Tayyab further said that my opponent Alfredo is a tough fighter from Philippines but I am ready for him. I know that if I could win this fight than it will be a turning point in my fighting career, he added.
