PCAA stuns WAPDA 2-0 in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League

PCAA records a stunning win over WAPDA 2-0 in the 2018 Pakistan Premier Football League which is being held at KMC, KPT and KB grounds in Karachi.

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) ended WAPDA’s most of the unbeaten run in the Premier League and kept up their hopes of securing a place in the top teams of the league by defeating one of the strongest standing teams currently on the point table of the league on a 2-0 score-line.

After a largely uneventful first half for both the teams, Muhammad Waheed opened the scoring for PCAA in the 56th minute with a perfect shot through his great ball control on the ground which looped over WAPDA’s goalkeeper and went right into their net.

And they doubled their lead in the injury time when Muhammad Naeem made WAPDA fall miserably and head back with a defeat in the match as he slotted the ball which passed through their several approaching players and landed into the opposite net.

WAPDA players tried their best to rescue the game, but they failed to bring their team to life suffering a 2 goal lost against PCAA team. Footballers of WAPDA had many chances to score but PCAA players saved each attempt made by them making them unable to find a way through and finished the match claiming victory in the game.

In the second encounter, Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) played a goalless match.

Today, PAK Army and Sui Northern Gas Companies (SNGPL) will face each other at Korangi Baloch (KB) ground in Karachi.
