SGA to launch scheme to help needy golfers

The Sindh Golf Association (SGA) has launched a scheme to support underprivileged golfers to help them raise their game.

"We are providing equipment and quality golf gears to needy golf players in order to nurture their talent for the big events," SGA president Asad I A Khan told APP on Thursday.

He said the SGA as a first step pre-sented a branded golf set worth Rs180,000 to the winner of the Chief of Air Staff Golf Championship Moazzam Siddique who also won a major event at the Airman Golf Club last Sunday.

"We are providing incentives to those underprivileged golfers who had shown talent in various competitions held under auspices of the Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF)," said the SGA president. "This scheme is for talented golfers of Sindh."
