GB scouts clinch Saadia Khan Ski Cup 2018

Athletes representing Gilgit-Baltistan won the Ski Championship organised by the Pakistan Air Force at PAF Ski Resort, Naltar.

The ski competition continued for three days at PAF Ski Resort, Naltar. Skiers from various Ski associations of Pakistan participated in the championship in temperatures below freezing point. A large number of spectators and Ski lovers from all over the country came to relish the championship. 

In the Slalom and Gaint Slalom events, Ifrah Wali secured the first position, Fatima Sohail was on 2nd spot and Ummama Wali secured the 3rd position in the championship. In both the events players fetched the same positions.

Pakistan Air Force Chief Marshal Sohail Aman grace the ceremony as a chief guest and awarded medals and certificates to the wining skiers of ice skating, cross country skating and snowboarding competitions. Whereas Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Scouts outclassed their rivals to win the cup by bagging all the medals.
