Ali Naeem sparkles in Quaid-e-Azam Royal Palm Stableford Golf

Ali Naeem wins the Royal Palm stableford golf competition while Lt Gen (r) M. Tariq secured the second position and Hamid Sharif ended on third.

All the golfers were pumped up while competing for the 18 holes title of Royal Palm Quaid-e-Azam golf competition at Royal Palm Golf course, Lahore. The event was playing on stableford scoring format and that encourages the golfers to play aggressively. Main golfers in the competition with the double digit handicappers like Ali Naeem, Mansoor Zaigham, Dr. Mohsin and Lt. Gen(r) Muhammad Tariq.

Mr. consistent Ali Naeem started the game dominantly as he backed up his drives and with his perfect approach he took advantage of his handicap strokes with an aggregate score of 43 points through two birdies, 9 regulation pars and 6 bogies. He only double bogeyed the four, 8th hole but his game was flawless in other 17 holes, that one laps did not hamper his overall standings. Though Ali Naeem was playing with perfection but the others were also playing with devotion and purpose to win position none other than the first.

Gen(r) Tariq was following Ali Naeem to snatch the victory so keenly but he missed the winning stand with just two points and secured the second spot in handicap category zero to fifteen followed by Hamin Sharif who ended on the third position with 37 score.

Mansoor Shah grabbed the first position in handicap 16 to 18 category with 39 points while Dr. Mohsin with his golfing skills ended on second with 37 points and Asim Bajwa earned the third spot with a score of 31 points.
Some others were also awarded with the prizes like Shoaib Shams and Mairaj. The longest drive was hit by Shoaib Shams and he was awarded with bracket while Imran Mairaj hit the ball so accurately and he was the one nearest to win the pin prize. The newcomer with the worst score Ahmed Asad got the prize of “Maximum Golf”.

Captain of Royal Palm Golf club Lt Gen(r) M. Tariq was awarded with the winning prizes at the end of Royal Palm Quaid e Azam Stable ford Competition.
