Sindh Golf Association(SGA) Ladies Amateur Golf Championship tees off today
SGA has organized yet another golf championship the third consecutive time in the month. The first ever SGA Ladies Amateur Golf Championship sponsored by United Marine Agencies(UMA), Bank Al-Habib and Pakistan Golf Federation(PGF) will be played from 17th to 19th August at the Defence Authority Country and Golf Club, Karachi.
Confirmed by Humera Khalid, member of the Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF), Executive Committee, total 50 golfers including Pakistan’s leading female golfers, from all over the country will participate in the tournament.
“The fact that so many golfers have come to play this championship shows the growing popularity of the sport among the ladies,” said Asad I A Khan, President SGA.
The three-day championship comprises of competitions in gold, silver and bronze categories. The participants in the gold category will compete for the title over 54 holes while the silver and bronze categories will be played over 36 holes.
