PAK Juniors triumph over Bhutan in Davis Cup
Pakistani juniors thrashed Bhutan by 3-0 in the second round of Junior Davis Cup at Colombo.
Pakistan’s junior Davis Cup team maintained their winning streak as they outclassed Bhutan 3-0 in the second round of Junior Davis Cup in Colombo.
Pakistan won the first round tie after defeating Malaysia 3-0, dominated against Bhutan too. Ahmed Kamil showed thrilling performance as he did could not allow his opponent Jigma Norbu to play freely and easily won the match by 6-0, 6-0 while Huzaifa Abul Rehman outclassed Thinley Dorji by 6-0, 6-0.
In the doubles, the pair of Kamil and Mohammad Shoaib played marvelously as they thwarted the opponents to score any point and registered straight sets victory over Bhutan’s duo Norbu-Thinley Dorji in a one sided encounter by 6-0, 6-0.
Pakistan is leading Group ‘C’ which also features Bhutan, Kuwait and Malaysia.
