Asad Ullah wins boys under 18 singles title in McDonalds National Junior Tennis Championships 2017

Hamid Israr won the title of Boys Under 14 category. Saqib Umer lost to Asad Ullah in the boys U-18 singles in straight sets of McDonalds National Junior Tennis Championships 2017 here at Pakistan Sports Complex tennis courts Islamabad.

 

Asad ullah won the title of boys under 18 singles when he defeated Saqib Umer for boys U-18 singles in straight sets. Some amazing serve and volley at the net allowed Asad ullah to take lead of 5-2 to take the set at 6-4. Asad continued his authoritative advances on Saqib in the next set, finally winning it at 6-3 by breaking 4th and 6th game of Saqib. The match continued for an hour and 30 minutes.

Hamid Israr won this title of Boys Under 14 category after beating Hamza Roman in a one sided game of scores 6-3 and 6-0.

The matches were followed by the prize distribution ceremony of the championship. Mr. Salim Saifullah Khan President Pakistan Tennis Federation, Syed Dilawar Abbas, Patron PTF and Dr. Akhtar Nawaz Genjeera graced the ceremony as chief and honorary guests respectively. Mr. Salim Saifullah Khan bestowed shields and prizes amongst the winning players. Sindh Players Tennis Association arranged this tournament whereas Mr. Reza Ali Mirza, President and former Davis Cup player headed the event. Rs.100,000 as well as traveling and daily allowances were given to the players in this tournament.
