Pakistan Hopeful of Bouncing Back

The fourth T20I will be played today.

Pakistan and New Zealand are gearing up for the fourth T20I of their five-match series scheduled for Thursday, April 25th. The upcoming match holds significant importance for both teams, with Pakistan aiming to overturn their fortunes after suffering a defeat at the hands of the Kiwis during their recent encounter on New Zealand's home turf.

With Babar Azam back at the helm as the white-ball captain, Pakistan is optimistic about their chances of securing a victory in the series. The team is determined to put up a strong performance and clinch the win against their opponents.

Wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan and Middle-order batter Irfan Khan Niazi have also been ruled out of the series due to injuries.

Mohammad Rizwan pulled his hamstring while batting in the third T20I.

The series stands at 1-1, with both teams securing one victory each, while one match was abandoned due to rain.

Pakistan emerged triumphant in the second game, but New Zealand bounced back strongly in the third encounter, levelling the series with a significant win.

The match will take place at the Gaddafi Stadium, known for its consistent and fair playing surfaces that often result in high-scoring matches. The pitch at Gaddafi Stadium typically offers favourable conditions for both fast bowlers and slower bowlers, adding an extra dimension to the gameplay and strategy for both teams.
