Gatorade Trophy Ranking Tennis Championships 2021 reaches final stage

On the fifth day of Gatorade Trophy Ranking Tennis Championships 2021 semifinal matches were played at the Union Club, Karachi.

In the juniors’ under-17 singles semi-final, Ahsan Ahmed of Continental Tennis Academy brushed aside Ayaan Ahmed of Modern Club with the final score line of 1-6, 6-4, 10-8 to set up title clash with Mohammad Farooq of Modern Club.

Laraib Shamsi also earned a berth in final of under-11 singles by overpowering Eschelle Asif 4-0, 4-2.

In the first round of men’s doubles, Shahab Khan and Adnan Khan outplayed Ayaan and Farooq 8-3 In Soft tennis, men’s singles round robin competition, Usama Saeed beat Saad Ahmed but later lost to Muhammad Ali 5-0.
