Four time National Champion, Talha Talib wins Bronze in Asian Weightlifting Championship

Gujranwala's premier weightlifter, Talha Talib won a bronze medal in the Asian Weightlifting Championship.

The 2018 Commonwealth Games bronze medalist, Talha claimed a bronze medal in snatch in the Asian Weightlifting Championship in Uzbekistan's capital Tashkent.

However, Talha was incapable to win in clean and jerk and total as he finished fourth with 167kg in clean and jerk and ended fifth with a total of 315kg. Meanwhile, China secured gold and silver in total with the bronze going to Uzbekistan.
