Lahore’s weightlifting team names for Quaid-e-Azam Inter Divisional Table Tennis, Weightlifting and Powerlifting Championships 2021
Players trials for Lahore Division's weightlifting (men) team were held at railway stadium in which 21 players participated, out of which 10 players are selected .
On the directions of Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Olakh, the trials of the players for the first Quaid-e-Azam Inter Divisional Table Tennis, Weightlifting and Powerlifting Championships have started for weightlifting (men) and power lifting (women) teams.
Players trials for Lahore Division's weightlifting (men) team were held at railway stadium in which 21 players participated, out of which 10 players are selected under the supervision of selection panel including Punjab Weightlifting Association Secretary Javed Asghar, Secretary Lahore Division Ch Mushtaq and Joint Secretary Lahore Division Abdul Ghaffar supervised the trials.
The selected weightlifters are namely stated below:
Sameer Khan, Hamza Raffique, Zain Khalid, Hasnain Butt, Abdullah Zahid, Wasiq Iqbal, Shahzaib Haider, M Ali, Khurram Ali and Faiz Butt.
The trials of Lahore Division women powerlifting team will be held at Punjab University Women Centre today (26th February).
Meanwhile, the trials of Multan’s weightlifting (men) and powerlifting (women) teams will be held at Sports Complex Multan at 10am today (26th February) under the supervision of DSO Multan Rana Nadeem Anjum.
