Sports Board Punjab Open Tennis Championship 2021 begins today
The Sports Board Punjab Open Tennis Championship 2021 will take place from January 26 to 30th at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore.
The Sports Board Punjab Open Tennis Championship 2021 will take place from January 26 to 30th at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore.
The opening ceremony of the tournament will be held on January 27 at 3:00 pm, and Punjab Minister for Sports Mr. Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti will grace the occasion as chief guest and inaugurate the event.
Players from across the Punjab will be seen in action during the event while the winners of all the categories will be awarded with the prizes, trophies, certificates and medals.
Tournament Director Rashid Malik, who is also PLTA Secretary, said that for the development and encouragement of senior and junior players, 13 categories have been announced for Sports Board Punjab Open Tennis Championship.
The categories include mens singles (Punjab), ladies singles (Punjab), senior 35 plus doubles, boys U-18, boys U-18 doubles, girls U-18, boys U-14, boys U-14 doubles, boys/girls U-12, boys/girls U-12 doubles, boys/girls U-10, boys/girls U-8 and boys/girls U-6. All final matches of the championship will be played on January 30 at 2:00 pm.
