Malik Imran Liaqat elected President of Punjab Archery Association

Malik Imran Liaqat has been elected President of Punjab Archery Association and Amanullah Shaan General Secretary.

A meeting of the Executive Committee of Punjab Archery Association was held at Khawarshah National Archery Academy, Jhang.

Hafeez Bhatti, Director Sports, Board of Sports, Punjab, Manzar Shah, Divisional Sports Officer, Tariq Nazir, DS, Mohammad Imran and President of Pakistan Baseball Federation has participated in the meeting.

On this occasion, the newly elected President Malik Imran Liaqat expressed gratitude toward all the individuals and said that archery is an Islamic sport and we will spread it into all corners of the province as a Sunnah of the Prophet(PBUH) and soon our children will make Pakistan famous globally.

Later, the Executive Committee of Punjab Archery Association called on Adnan Arshadwalakh, Director General Sports Punjab. DG Sports Punjab assured all possible cooperation and facilities for Islamic and Olympic Games Archery.

Afterward, the Executive Committee of Punjab Archery Association approached Adnan Arshadwalakh, Director General Sports Punjab. DG Sports Punjab guaranteed all conceivable participation and facilities for Islamic and Olympic Games Archery.

The meeting was attended by executive members Amir Hameed, Zahid Awan, Shafqat Niazi, Rao Asif, Syed Nadish Abbas, Asghar Khan, Timur Raza and Malik Khalid Zameer from across Punjab. Malik Imran Liaqat was elected president on the vacant seat of Syed Khawar Shah (late), former president of the Executive Committee Association, after which the newly elected president nominated Amanullah Shaan as general secretary as per the rules.
