Huzaifa Abdul Rehman alongside Habib advance into semis of 12th UAE Fujairah ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors Championships

Islamabad-born Huzaifa Abdur Rehman and his Tunisian partner Habib Stambouli reached the semifinals of the 12th UAE Fujairah ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors Championships in UAE.

Third seeded Huzaifa & Habib ousted non-seeded pair of Barbier gazeu from France & Hassan Baroudi of Syria by 2-0 to secure berth into the semifinal.

The final score line was 6-4, 6-0.

Now, Huzaifa- Habib duo is up against top seeded pair of Japan’s GeniInoue & Frank Jonker of Netherlands in the semifinals of boy’s double category.

Earlier, Huzaifa and Habib defeated the unseeded duo of Rohan Kumar of India and Kailash Nath of Canada 6-2, 6-4 in the first round.

Fourth seeded Huzaifa lost to GarvBahl of India in the 2nd round of men’s singles category.
