Semifinalists of Ufone Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Football Cup 2019 decided

DFA Green FC Kohat set up a semi-final clash with Peshawar Combined FC while DFA Chitral FC will lock horns with DFA Swabi FC for a place in the final after all four teams won closely-contested matches of the Super 8 stage at the Tehmas Khan Football Stadium on Sunday. 

DFA Green FC Kohat  became the first semifinalists after overcoming Pak Rose FC Haripur 4-3 in a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw in regular time. Pak Rose FC Haripur came back from 2-0 down to send the match to spot-kicks but could not overcome the final hurdle missing crucial penalty kicks to concede the game.

Peshawar Combined FC endured a more nerve-wracking shootout as they beat Shah FC Charsadda 8-7. The game went to spot kicks as both the teams failed to score in regulation time.

Yousuf’s solitary goal proved to be the difference as DFA Chitral FC defeated Aatish FC Tank to book a spot in the semifinals. 

DFA Swabi FC became the final team in the semifinal as they scored a goal in each half to beat Bannu Red FC 2-0.
