PSSO Students Games 2019: The City School & Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus win Swimming titles

The City School PAF Chapter won the girls swimming event while Beaconhouse Jubilee campus clinched the overall boys title in the ongoing PSSO Students Games Champ­ion­ship

The City School PAF Chapter accumulated 80 points to capture the top spot of A-Levels Girls Swimming and they were followed by The Lyceum School with total of 75 points for second position. Best Swimmer’s award went to Zoon Zehra of The Lyceum School. 

The Under-16 Girls Swimming title went to Beacon House Jubilee Campus with a total of 128 points while The City School PAF Chapter took the runner up Spot by 107 points. Ramesha Imran of Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus was declared the Best Swimmer in this category.

Beaconhouse Defence Campus with 71 points was declared the winner of Under-14 contest whereas 56 points from The City School PAF Chapter could only earn them the Runner-up spot. Jannat Shaikh of Beaconhouse Defence Campus was declared the Best Swimmer. 

The City School PAF Chapter with 72 points and 86 points, earned both the titles of Under-10 and Under-12 age categories, respectively. Haque Academy with 61 points clinched the second position in Under-10 event while Beaconhouse Defence Campus and Happy Home School with 31 points each. Areej Aftab in Under-10 and Ayesha Abdul Ghafoor in Under-12 from TCS PAF Chapter were named the Best Swimmers.

Beaconhouse School System Jubilee Campus secured 10 gold, 5 silver and 8 bronze medals accumulating a total of 329 points to clinch the top spot. They were followed by The City School PAF Chapter with 5 gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze medals and a final total of 231 points.

* Best Swimmers: Talha Raza of Alpha College and Muhamman Sheeraz from Bahria College.

2. Under 16:
First Position  136 PointsBeaconhouse Jublee Campus
Second Position  81 PointsThe City School PAF Chapter
* Best Swimmers: Hussain Mujtaba of Beaconhouse Jublee Campus

3. Under 14:
First Position  103 PointsBeaconhouse Jubilee Campus
Second Position  40 PointsSKBZ
* Best Swimmer: Abdullah Ahmed of Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus

The City School PAF then won both Under-10 and Under-12 Swimming categories. In the Under-12 category, The City School managed to earn 57 points to outscore Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus by just one point who stood at 56. Mikhael Fatmani Haq of Haque Academy was declared the Best Swimmer.

In the Under-10 boys category, The City School PAF Chapter scored a total of 85 points to emerge as winners and were followed by Haque Academy with 67 points. Hamza Qurashi took the title of Best Swimmer in this class. 

Karachi School-College Games are being organized by Pakistan School Sports Olympics (PSSO) into the current year, which is featuring leading schools and colleges teams in several different sports in which all the players are seen competing with all their skills and talent so as to emerge winners in their respective sports.
