Army claim Aman Cup crown

Pakistan Army overcame Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) 2-0 to win the final of the All Pakistan Aman Football Cup at the Peoples Sports Complex on Tuesday.

Both the goals came in the space of seven second half minutes as Army, who prevailed in a penalty shootout against Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Sunday night, cruised to victory.

After Abdul Rehman opened the scoring in the 71st minute, Gul Hasnain sealed victory for Army.

In the match for third place, deposed champions DFA West held their nerve to beat SSGC 5-4 on penalties after a goalless draw.
