On the opening day of Rafum Junior National Tennis Championship six matches were decided in different age categories at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-i-Jinnah, Lahore.
On the opening day of Rafum Junior National Tennis Championship six matches were decided in different age categories at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-i-Jinnah, Lahore.
The events are being held in different age categories including boys’ U-16 singles and doubles, boys’ U–14, boys’ and girls’ U-12 singles and doubles, boys’/girls’ U-10 and boys’/girls’ U–8.
In the Under-16 category, Arham Khan didn't allowed Ryam Khan to play freely as he managed to take full control over the match and won it by 8-3. In the next match of same age category, Ibrahim Anjum defeated Asnan Haseeb by 8-5 while Temor Ali beat Zaeem Ghafoor 8-5.
The thrilling fixture of the day was seen between brilliant Bilal Waheed and Ali Shahik where both fought hard to rule the day but Bilal won the battle by 8-6 while last in the last match of the under-16 category, Shaeel Durab easily beat Arman Kamran by 8-4.
In the under-14 category, Zaeem Ghafoor produced a skillful game to overpowered Bilal Gilani by 8-3.
