Zoha clinches ATF title

Top seed Zoha Asim claimed the girls title on the second leg of the ATF U-14 Super Series Cham­pionships on Wednes­day with a straight sets 6-2, 6-4 victory over Rida Khan at the PTF Complex here on Wednesday.

Zoha’s victory was her second over Rida in the championships after she beat her in the final of the first leg.

In the men’s final on Thursday, Britain’s Mohammad Said — who is of Pakistani origin — will face top seed Hamza Bin Rehan after they cruised through their respective last-four clashes in straight sets.

Said brushed aside Sami Zeb 6-1, 6-2 while Hamza dispatched Nalain Abbas 6-4, 6-3.
