Independence Day Open Archery Championship scheduled for tomorrow

Noticeable talented archers are to feature in the 2019 Independence Day Open Archery Championship which is slated to be held tomorrow at AA Babar Block, Bahria Town, Lahore.

Divisional Sports Office Lahore is organizing this mega archery event which has been named as "Independence Day Open Archery Championship" into the current year in respect to the occasion of 73rd Independence Day of the country, the championship will commence tomorrow. 


This archery competition is open for both, male and female archers with no age restriction and will be held at AA Babar Block, Bahria Town, Lahore. This competition's format consists of Individual event and each participating archer will be having 30 arrows which would have to be hit at a set target of 50 meters in accordance to which, results would be drawn.  


All the participating skilled archers will be seen competing with all their talent and accuracy at the target so as to win top honors in this championship which is offering attractive prizes, medals and certificates to the players and of all the participating teams.


Participants are requested to wear their sports dress in accordance with Pakistan's Independence Day and are to reach the venue at 03:00 PM for practice which will continue for over an hour while the championship will begin from 04:00 PM on-wards. If someone comes after practice time then he/she will not have practice arrows instead he/she will directly start the tournament to record actual score.


Shooting Judge will be Mr Syed Zulfiqar Ali while Score Board Judges would be Syed Danish Abbas, Taimoor Shah and Mohsin Attiq. 


Syed Fakhar Shah , President Baseball Federation and Director Sports Officer of Bahria Town Lahore will be the honorable chief guest who will grace the event open.
