Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation to field two players in Mas-Wrestling World Cup 2019

Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation eyes on victory in the 2019 Mas-Wrestling World Cup through two of its best players who will represent the country in this international event which is scheduled to be held from 6 to 10 June in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The Mas-Wrestling World Cup 2019 is being organized by International Mas-Wrestling Federation and Mas-Wrestling Federation of Azerbaijan, in which a total of 12 nations will be taking part for the top honors. 

Participating countries include: the host, Azerbaijan, Finland, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Slovakia, Russia, Pakistan, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Hungary. Mas-Wrestling World Cup 2019 will be held for both men and women and in three stages:

- 1st Stage – Baku, Azerbaijan from June 6 – 10. 

- 2nd Stage – Almalyk, Uzbekistan from August 15 – 19.

- 3rd (final) stage – Lodz, Poland from November 14 – 18.

Competitions will be held as per the rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation and in following weight categories:

* Men: 60 KG, 70 KG, 80 KG, 90 KG, 105 KG, 125 KG, over 125 KG;

* Women: 55 KG, 65 KG, 75 KG, 85 KG, over 85 KG.

Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation has decided upon two of its best players to participate in this forthcoming international event and the players will also attend the training camp with Azerbaijan National Mas-Wrestling Team during stay in Baku from 31st May till 6th June.

Players to represent Pakistan are: Muhammad Talha and Sheraz Ali, both will feature in 60 KG weight class.
