Ilham, Haris & Naveeda win gold medals in 1st OISSA DMC East friendly Archery Competition

The first ever OISSA DMC East friendly Archery Competition concluded successfully with several players winning medals at Olympian Iftekhar Syed Family Park in Karachi.

Olympian Iftekhar Syed Sports Academy (OISSA) organized the first ever DMC East friendly Archery Competition in joint efforts with Tiger Gulshan Archery Club. This competition was not restricted to any gender as the contests were held in both male and female categories. 

A noticeable number of archers participated in this competition and they belonged to different universities and clubs all round the city of lights: Karachi. Individual Competitions in male category were held at a distance of 18 meters and 36 arrows in which Ilham from Karachi University scored 279 and secured the top spot and he was followed by Mustansir of ANAB Academy, who won silver medal with his score of 267. Shahwar, also from Karachi University managed the third position with 236 score.

While the 30 meter distance and 36 arrow Individual male category winner stood, Harris belonging to Pakistan Customs with his final score of 285. Rehmat from Karachi University and Mustansir of ANAB Academy settled for silver and bronze medals with their scores of 262 and 245, respectively. 

Karachi University's Naveeda won gold medal in the same category in female competitions as she scored 279, followed by Qurrat Ul Ain of Pakistan Customs who scored 268 and the bronze medal went to Karachi University's Faheela with her final score of 191. 

Mix Team event, having a distance of 30 meter and 12 arrows declared Haris and Naveeda the winners, claiming gold medals with their score of 93. They were followed by Ilham and Shahwa, who bagged silver medal with having a score of 90. Third position along with a bronze medal went to Mustansir and Faheela with their final score of 88.
