37th National Boxing Championship all set to begin today
As many as 14 teams are to take part in the 2019 National Boxing Championship which is all set to commence today at Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.
According to the information provided by the Secretary of Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF), Nasir Tung, Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) is organizing the national level mega boxing event once again, which has been named as "National Boxing Championship" into the current which marks it's 37th edition.
All affiliated units of Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) will be participating in this national championship and the teams will belong to different provinces and departments of the nation. Army team will be defending their title.
Participating teams are named as under:
1. Balochistan
2. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)
3. Punjab
4. Sindh
5. Islamabad
6. Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK)
7. Army
8. Pakistan Air Force (PAF)
9. Navy
10. K-Electric
11. Karachi Port Trust (KPT)
12. Water And Power Development Authority (WAPDA)
13. Railway and
14. Police
Fighters from the above mentioned teams will be seen competing against each other with all their might in ten (10) different weight categories that are: 49 KG, 52 KG, 56 KG, 60 KG, 64 KG, 69 KG, 75 KG, 81 KG, 91 KG and 91+ KG .
