Army dominates first day of 7th National Archery Championship

Army players dominated the first day of the 2019 National Archery Championship which is currently in progress at AL-NADI AL-BURHANI Sports Complex in Karachi.

More than 500 attendees are on converge at AL-NADI AL-BURHANI Sports Complex during this mega archery event which is being organized under the supervision of Pakistan Archery Federation and Sindh Archery Association.  

This championship is a national level championship which is being held on Olympic style where archers from various regions of the country have came together to show their incredible accuracy talent so as to win the ultimate title of the championship. 

The first day of this championship has been dominated by the archers belonging to the Army team as Mohammad Nadeem, Idrees Majeed and Mohammad Tayyab stands on the first three spots with their scores of 599, 590 and 566 in the Men's Individual event, respectively. In Women's Individual event, Nabeela Kausar and Sumbal Zubair grabbed the first two positions, respectively. 

Previously,  Peshawar stands at top with having 4 titles won of this championship, two titles of first and second edition while two of the 5th and 6th editions. While it was Lahore who broke the chain for Peshawar by winning the 3rd and 4th title of the same championship.

Lt. General Syed Arif Hassan HI(M), President Pakistan Olympics Association was the honorable chief guest who graced the event open. 

This championship is largely sponsored by Fakhri Arcade, Ajnarwala's, Bohra Developers, Naveed Akbar and Co., Din Brothers Engineering, Emadi Textiles, Aqmar Travels, Farid Ahmed and Sons, Fazal Impex and Huzefa Engineering Services. This event is highly interactive, and sponsors will have the opportunity to engage directly with event attendees throughout the venue.
