Pakistan to feature in 18 FINA World Championship - Olympics Qualifying Rounds
Pakistan Swimming Team's only national top ranked swimmers will be participating in FINA World Championship - Olympics Qualifying Rounds 2019 which are scheduled to be held from 8 to 29 July in Gwangju, South Korea.
All the concerned affiliated units have already been informed that Pakistan Swimming Team's only national top ranked swimmers will be participating in the Olympic Qualifying Rounds-18 FINA World Championship that is all set to begin from 18 to 29 July in Gwangju, South Korea. Gwangju preparations are in full swing and on track as the Organizing Committee has begun on-site rehearsals after completing the final preparations including furnishing Athletes’ Village and competition venues to ensure that the athletes, their entourage and the FINA Family are offered the best conditions and service throughout the event.
Also, the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships or called Junior Worlds is a swimming championship event organized by FINA for girls aged 14–17 and boys aged 15–18 on 31 December of the year of the competition. It is held biennially, and has been held since 2006 and to the current year. But this year, the 7th edition of FINA World Junior Swimming Championships 2019, will be held in Budapest, Hungary from 18 to 25 August as per Age Group defined below:
* Girls: 14 – 17 years on 31 December 2019 (born 2005, 2004, 2003, & 2002)
