St. Paul's Red wins Silver Jubilee St. Paul Women’s Softball Championship 2019

St. Paul's Red won on a close call over St. Paul's Yellow by 7-5 to win the title of 2019 Silver Jubilee St. Paul Women’s Softball Championship which concluded successfully in Karachi.

This mega Softball action was organized in collaboration with Softball Federation of Pakistan (SFP) for which Chairperson SFP, Tehmina Asif was the honorable chief guest who witnessed the finals being played into the championship and she also distributed prizes and trophies among the high achievers at the concluding ceremony of the championship. 

 Addressing on the occasion, she said that there are a lot of more things to be done to promote sports in the country which had previously been ignored. “We would not only been popularizing sports but would also be winning laurels for the country by participating in more international events,” she added. The SFP chief further said that SFP would do its best to hold international events and hosting foreign coaches.

Meanwhile in Junior category event, St. Paul's Green overpowered St. Paul's Blue by 8-4 in the championship while the it was St. Paul's Red who also won on a close call over St. Paul's Yellow by 7-5 to win the title of St. Paul Women’s Softball Championship 2019. Silver Jubilee hugely sponsored this event and that is why it stands as the title sponsor of this championship. 

Also present on the occasion were St. Paul's School Principal Leonard Dias, Director National Softball Academy, Mohammad Nasir, School Coordinators, Rose Maria Alfons and Elizabeth Gill, Faraz Ijaz and Naheed Liaquat.
