First Archery Crash Course Session successfully concluded

Mohammed Shk Abbas Petiwala, Syed Ahsan Ahmad and Iqra Hassan are the top three archers who stand on the top three spots of First Archery Crash Course Session in Karachi.

Historically, archery has been used for hunting and combat. In modern times, it is mainly a competitive sport and recreational activity. A person who participates in archery is typically called an archer or a bowman, and a person who is fond of or an expert at archery is sometimes called a toxophilite.

First Archery Crash Course Session was conducted by Al Nadi Al Burhani Archery Academy for which nine (9) archers joined this academy in October 2018 to polish their skills and excel in the sport through this course . They were judged and rewarded for their skills after having a competition among themselves at a shooting range of 25 meters.

The nine participants include: Mohammed Shk Abbas Petiwala, Syed Ahsan Ahmad, Iqra Hassan, Ebrahim Mustafa, Ibrahim Yousuf Petiwala, Hamza Hussain, Ibraheem Khan Yousufzai, Murtaza Ali Noor Ud Din and Batool Murtaza Ali.

Mohammed Shk Abbas Petiwala secured the top spot while Syed Ahsan Ahmad managed to win the second position whereas the third spot went to Iqra Hassan.

Winner , Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up were given cash prize of Rupees 25,000, Rupees 15,000 and Rupees 7,500, respectively.

The second session of Archery Crash Course will be held on 16th February 2019.
