Mudassar & Shoaib qualify for main round of $15000 Pakistan F-3 Futures tournament 2018

Mudassar Murtaza and Mohammad Shoaib qualified for the main round of ITF Futures Championships F-3 at Islamabad Tennis Courts (ITC), Islamabad.

Mudassar Murtaza and Mohammad Shoaib qualified for the main round of ITF Futures Championships F-3 at Islamabad Tennis Courts (ITC), Islamabad. Mudassar overpowered Aman Attique 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-3 in the final qualifying round of men’s singles, while Shoaib won against Cheong Hwi Kim Korea 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(3).

As many as 41 foreign players are taking part in the $15000 Pakistan F-3 Futures tournament that is scheduled to take place in Islamabad from December 17-23 at the Pakistan Tennis Federation Complex, Islamabad.

Pakistan's promising tennis players Aqeel Khan, Muhammad Abid Ali, Ahmed Choudhary, Muhammad Abid and Mudassar Murtaza are in the main round of Men's singles. The main draw is for 32 places and the qualifying draw was for 48 places in the singles category.

There were 15 Pakistani and 24 foreign players in the qualifying draw, while there are 45 alternates in the event. As many as 234 players withdrew from tournament as well. All matches will be played on the hard court of the Pakistan Tennis Federation Complex at the Embassy Road, Sector G-5, Islamabad.
