PAF named 12-member Archer squad for 13th South Asian Games

Pakistan Archery Federation held trails at Islamabad Sports Complex for selection of national Archery team to participate in 13th South Asian Games. 

The XIII South Asian Games is a major multi-sport event which will take place between 9–18 March 2019 in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal.  

Six top scorers from both male and female are selected for training camp.

Following are the selected Male Archers :

1: Abdur Rahman - 598 (WAPDA)

2: Idrees Majeed - 595 (PAK ARMY)

3: Usama Mustafa - 582 (POLICE)

4: M. Tayyab - 582 (PAK ARMY)

5: M. Nadeem - 575 (PAK ARMY)

6: Numan Saqib - 567 (WAPDA)

Following are the selected Female Archers :

1: Nighat Naheed - 543 (WAPDA)

2: Sumbal Zubair - 488 (PAK ARMY)

3: Nabeela Kausar - 484 (PAK ARMY)

4: Ume Zahra - 451 (PAK ARMY)

5: Sadia - 354 (PUNJAB)

6: Ume Kalsoom - 331 (PAK ARMY)

Secretary General of Pakistan Archery Federation pay thanks to all participating players and congratulate those who are selected. Those who are not qualified should not be discouraged and should continuously carry on their practice for next competition.
