Habib Girls School and The City School (PAF) to lock horns in PAFIAN Girls Netball Cup 2018 Finals

The second day in the tournament saw various schools and colleges teams battling against each to book their place in semi-final and then the final of the tournament.  

Habib Girls School, The City School PAF and St. Joseph Girls School qualified for the semi-final matches in the under-18 years of age category when Habib Scool girls gave a hard game to The City School North Nazimabad players and did not let their attempts touch the basket through their brilliant accuracy at defence and thrashed them by 12-4 points.

Whereas The City School PAF St. Joseph Girls School tied the match on a 8-8 score-line and thus both the teams made it to the semi-final stage in the championship.

Now the 1st semi final match will be played between Habib Girls School and St. Joseph Girls School and the second semi-final match will see The City School PAF (Blue) up against The City School PAF (White) tomorrow.

Following are the Under-15 category results:

1. City School PECHS beat City School PAF (White) by 9-3 goals

2. Habib Girls School (Red) beat City School North Nazimabad (green) by 9-2 goals

3. City school PAF (blue) beat City School North Nazimzbad (red) by 10-1 goals

First semi-final match was played between Habib Girls School (White) and Habib Girls School (Red) teams in which Habib School (White) crushed the opponents by 9-2 and booked place in the final stage while second semi-final match witnessed City School PAF (Blue) and City School PECHS teams battling it out in which the match was equal by 7-7 goals but in extra time The City School PAF (Blue) made several shots from which many got successful ending the match on 11-7 score-line and booked their place in the final of the championship.

The final match of under-15 category will be played tomorrow between Habib Girls School and The City School PAF team.
