Habib Girls School, Trinity Girls College victorious in PAFIAN Girls Netball Cup 2018

Habib Girls School and Trinity Girls College along with other schools and colleges defeated their respective opponents in the first matches played in PAFIAN Girls Netball Cup 2018 which is being held at The City School (PAF Chapter), Karachi.

 
Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) in collaboration with City School PAF, International Netball Federation (INF), Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and Netball Asia has organized the 2018 PAFIAN Girls Netball Cup in which girls belonging to Karachi’s leading schools and colleges are participating in two different age categories of Under-18 and Under-15 years.  

In this very first match in the U-18 category, The City School PAF girls made hard efforts to win the match as their opponents: Trinity Girls College were also showing good game play but The City School PAF girls came out much stronger and finished the match in their favor on a 9-5 score-line.

While in the second match, Habib Girls School thrashed The City School Gulshan 14-2 exploiting the vulnerable game of the losing team whereas The City School North Nazimabad made City School University Road suffer a loss of 9-4 in the third match of the same category.

Also, St. Joseph’s Girls School subdued Z-International School 8-2 while Trinity Girls College held St. Joseph’s Girls School in a 4-4 draw.

Simon Glasson, Principal City School PAF, was the chief guest at the opening ceremony along with Mudassir Arain, President of the Pakistan Netball Federation, Secretary General, Muhammad Riaz and Ejaz Ul Haq, Secretary General Sindh Netball Association, were also present on this occasion.
