Aisam, Haase stun top seeded pair

Pakistan’s Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Dutch partner Robin Haase shocked the top seeded pair of Feliciano Lopez and Marc Lopez to advance to the quarter-finals of Marseille Open in France on Tuesday.

The unseeded pair of Aisam and Haase, ranked 44th and 96th, respectively, defeated the Spanish duo, ranked 41st and 32nd, respectively, 7-6, 7-6(6) in the first round.

They will face the unseeded pair of Jonathan Erlich of Israel and Colin Fleming of England in the quarter-finals of this ATP 250 event.  Aisam has not been able to win any event this year.
