Raja Zulqarnain, Alja, Adnan win the National Junior Badminton Championship

Zulqarnain, Alja, Adnan outplayed their respective opponents to win their respective title in the National Junior Badminton Championship t the Gymnasium Hall of Sports Board Punjab Lahore.

The National Junior Badminton Championships concluded at the Gymnasium Hall of Sports Board Punjab Lahore where Raja Zulqarnain Haider of Punjab secured the U-18 Single and Doubles titles  while Alja Tariq of Balochistan won the U-18 single Championships.

In the Boys U-16 Single Qari Adnan from Khyber Paktunkhawa claim the title while  Sumaiya Tariq from Balochistan won the Girls U-16 Single title. Umar Khan from Khyber Pakhtunkhawa secured the the U-14 Boys Single title. 

In the Boys Doubles U-18 Raja Zulqarnain Haider & Tayyab Shafiq (Punjab) won the title while in Girls U-18 Doubles Amal Munib & Laiba Masoud (Punjab) won the title.

Muhammad Khalid Mahmood Secretary General Pakistan Olympic Association graced the ceremony as chief guest of the final ceremony and distributed trophies, cash award and certificates among the finalists. Total Prize money of the tournament was 150000/- Rs.

Mr. Sam Benthan Sivaparumal Development officer of Badminton Asia, Mr Pervaiz Ahmad Secretary Election commission of POA, Miss Ada Jaffery Secretary Education commission POA and Wajid Ali Chaudhry Secretary PBF were also present at the occasion.
