Karachi United made their way through to the Quarter Finals

Karachi United won the match against Saif Textiles to secure their place in the Quarter Finals. 

Karachi United needed a firm display to secure their place into the Quarter Finals of the Pakistan Football Federation Cup. With Army beating KPT earlier by 2-1, Karachi United needed only a draw to confirm their place in the next round.

United started their match with some brilliant attacking display. in the opening 15 minutes their 3 goals were disallowed due to offside. in the 18th minute Karachi United took the lead when Ali Reza scored a goal assisted by Fazal Mohammad. Just before the half time Usman Ghani scored a goal for Saif Textiles to make the score line 1-1 at half time. 

Fazal puts Karachi United back in front five minutes into the second half. But again Waqas Ali scored for Saif Textiles to make the scoreline 2-2. Eight minutes later, Smaeer Baloch scored again for Karachi United and this time they defended well to finish the match 3-2. 

In other match Pakistan Army defeated KPT by 2-1 to end KPT's chances to go through the next round. In the 24th minute of the match Ansar Abbas scored a goal to put Army ahead before Mohammad Baloch equalized for KPT three minutes later. In the dying minutes of the match, Mohammad Rasool scored a goal for Army to win the match. 

SSGC stunned WAPDA 2-1 on Friday. SSGC are in pole position to qualify for the next match. KRL edged SNGPL by a close margin of 1-0 and Ashraf Sugar Mills were defeated by NBP by 1-0.
