Inter-School Age Group Swimming Championship to begin from 29th September
Swimmers in eleven different age categories will participate in the SBP Inter-School Age Group Swimming Championship which is scheduled to commence from 29th September at Punjab International Swimming Complex in Lahore.
Sports Board Punjab (SBP) and Punjab Swimming Association (PSA) are jointly organizing the Inter-School Age Group Swimming Championship which will feature male and female swimmers of several schools and colleges to compete against each other in the upcoming competitions.
The championship will be contested in seven different age groups for which competitions will be held starting from 02:30 PM and all the swimming competitions will be conducted under the supervision of Director Sports, Hafeez Bhatti.
Following are the age categories for boys:
1. U-18
2. U-16
3. U-14
4. U-12
5. U-10
6. U-8 and
7. U-6
Following are the age categories for girls:
1. U-6
2. U-8
3. U-10
4. U-12
Following are the categories and distance in which competitions will be held:
| 200 meters (Individual Medley) | 50 meters (Butterfly) | 50 meters (Freestyle) |
| 50 meters (Back-Stroke) | 50 meters (Breast-Stroke) | 50 meters (Kick-Board Race) |
It is being stated as the rule of the championship that a swimmer is eligible only to participate in maximum three swimming events and
all the swimmers are to bring B Form for their age verification.
