Karachi United cruises to the final Round of PFF Federation Cup
Karachi United held Pakistan Police with a 2-2 draw and qualified for the next round. Pakistan Police, SSGPL and ASM also made it to the final round of PFF Cup.
On Tuesday two matches were played in Karachi. At KPT Stadium Karachi United scored two goals in the first half but they couldn't hold their lead for long. The match ended at 2-2 at final whistle.
Karachi United's Nouman scored the opening goal in the 16th minute followed by Asif Khan who scored a great goal in 42nd minute of the match. Karachi United were leading 2-0 at the half time.
Pakistan Police kept their nerves and did a successful comeback when their player Sher Hassan scored a goal in the 75th minute. Pakistan Police kept the Karachi United in under pressure throughout the 2nd half. In the 85th minute Muneebullah scored a goal for Pakistan police to take the score to 2-2 which remained the same till the final whistle.
In the other match Government Press upset KPT by 3-1. Nouman scored 2 goals and Zohaib scored 1 goal for Government press. Shahnawaz scored the only goal for KPT.
At Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad, SNGPL won the match by 3 goals to nil against PTV to qualify for the final round of the cup. Bhatti United also defeated HEC by 3-0 at the same venue later.
