Mohammad Inam clinches first Gold for Pakistan in Commonwealth Games

Pakistani Wrestler Mohammad Inam trashed his opponent Melvin Bibo of Nigeria by 6:0 in the final of the men’s freestyle 86kg event at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

Pakistani wrestler Muhammad Inam outclassed his opponent Melvin Bibo of Nigeria by 6:0 to wins the first gold medal for Pakistan in Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, Australia. 

In the first period of the fight, twenty nine year old Muhammad Inam won one technical point while forty one years old Bibo failed to score any points. In the second period, pehalwan from Gujranwala Inam secured 2, 2, and 1 technical point to secure five points and subsequently finished with six points against Bibo’s nil.

Mohammad Inam had won Silver medal in the Men's Freestyle 86 kg in Commonwealth Wrestling Championships held in 2016, Singapore and he is also a gold medalist of Delhi Commonwealth Games in 2010.
