Munir, Khaliq shines in International Wushu Championship

Pakistani player Munir Butt secured Gold in boy -48kg while in -52 kg Abdul Khaliq claim Gold in the International Wushu Championship at International Sports Gymnasium, Nisther Park Sports Complex Lahore.

On the second day of 4th south Asian International Wuhsu Championship at International Sports Gymnasium, Nisther Park Sports Complex Lahore a lot of matches ends in a very good manner where Pakistani players are on top in both male and female categories. On day two Pakistan Wushu Federation President Malik Iftikhar Awan, SVP Ambreen Iftikhar, Division Sports officer, Nadeem Qaiser, District sports officer Tanveer Abbas, Rehan Roshan and many also here. 

In boys -48 Kg Pakistan Greens Munir Butt secured gold medal and Abdulronq of Afghanistan won silver while Sri Lankan Surange and Iran Junaid won Bronze Medal. In -52 kg Pakistan Greens Abdul Khaliq claim Gold medal and Aunzeb of Irfan won Silver medal while Chandika Diksa of Sri Lanka and Matiullah of Afghanistan won bronze medal. In -60 Kg in Sri Lanka Balider won Gold, Pakistan Greens Bilal won Silver while Pakistan White Dawood and Ghulam Abbass of Afghanistan won Bronze medals.

In Dao shu event Pakistan could not maintain his lead as Sri Lankan D.M.H.C Kumar won gold medal, Gulab Khan of Afghanistan won silver medal while Hassan of Pakistan white and Waleed of Pakistan Greens won Bronze medals.
