Quetta City, Harnai, Jaffarabad register victories in Balochistan Football Cup

Quetta City thrashed Chagai while Harnai outpaced Kohlu and Jaffarabad defeated Jhal Magsi on the fourth day of qualifying round of PPL Balochistan Football cup. Quetta, Zhob, Makran and Sibi division were held in a draw against opponents.

Matches between Chaman and Nushki, Duki against Zhob, Turbat against Pashin, Dera Bugthi and Ziarat were also ended on a draw as the players of all these teams tried multiple times on opponent’s posts to score goals but none of them came out victorious. Whereas, good display of goal-keeping was also seen in the match played between Dera Bughti and Ziarat.

A good number of crowed was also preset to watch these matches who also supported their teams on their home grounds. Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) is hosting the third edition of the football tournament in line with its commitment to the people of Balochistan.

Qualifying round of ongoing Balochistan Football cup will end on February 26 while the main round starts from 1st March 2018. Both the semifinals are scheduled to be held on March 28 and Final will be played on March 30 at Sadiq Shaheed Football stadium, Malibagh Quetta.
