Aisam, Matkowski upbeat for Sofia Open tennis tournament

Aisam recently steers Pakistan along with Aqeel khan to victory in the Davis Cup tennis tournament Asia-Oceania Zone Group-I against Korea 4-0 will be seen in action with his polish partner Marcin Matkowski in Sofia Open tennis tournament.

Aisam played exceptionally well and won first singles match against Korean Soon Woo Kwon and then outplayed KWON Soonwoo and LIM Yong-Kyu along with Aqeel Khan in the doubles tie.

After winning the Davis cup tie, Aisam is hopeful for performing well against French Romain Arneodo and Austrian Tristan-Samuel Weissborn in the first round match of Sofia Open tennis tournament with his partner Marcin Matkowski from Poland.

Aisam- Matkowski started their campaign of 2018 from Qatar Open and then played together in Australian open where they were knocked out by American Bryan brothers in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Aisam Ul Haq is currently world no.21 doubles ranking player while his partner Marcin Matkowski stands on no.37 in doubles category. Match is scheduled to be played today at 5:50pm (PST).
