PAK Wrestlers to participate in Commonwealth Games 2018

Six Pakistani wrestlers will be seen in action in Commonwealth Wrestling Championships to be held from 12th to 14th April at Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre Australia.

The opening ceremony of Commonwealth Games will starts from 4th April at Metricon Stadium Carrara, Australia. Pakistani six member team has been selected under the supervision of Pakistan Wrestling Federation and national selection committee for the commonwealth games 2018 being held in April at Australia.  

The team was selected following one day trials held here at the national training and coaching center. Selection was based on merit keeping in the individual talent and potential of the wrestlers and their previous showing in the national and international events home and abroad.

Following are the wrestlers:
  1. Muhammad Bilal, 57 kgs  
  2. Abdul Wahab ,65 Kgs
  3.  Muhammad Asad Butt, 74 Kgs
  4. Muhammad Inam, 86 Kgs
  5. Umair Ahmad ,97 Kgs
  6. Tayab Raza, 125 Kg.
