Karwan, Elite FC into semis of Islamabad B-Division Football League

The Islamabad B-Division Football League is going on under the auspices of Islamabad Football Association (IFA) at T & T Football ground, Islamabad. 

The first quarter final was played between Karwan Club and Gilgit Baltistan. The match was started on fast tempo where both KARWAN FC and Gilgit Baltistan FC made some good rallies of attacks on each other goals. Gilgit Baltistan FC also played well but their strikers were failed to score any goal. In the 25th minutes of the first half, Adeel of KARWAN FC scored the beautiful goal against the opponent team and won the match by 1-0.

In another thrilling match, Elite football club played marvelously and thwarted Federal football club to strike any goal. Both teams fought well in the first half but it remained goalless. In the 12th minutes of the 2nd half, Haseeb scored one goal for Elite club and defeated Federal football club by 1-0 and moved into the semifinal of the Islamabad B-Division Football league.

General Secretary, Islamabad Football Association, Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari said that the semifinal competitions will be played on February 3 while final will be held on February 4. Sardar Tariq Mehmood will be the chief guest on the concluding ceremony of the event and will give away prizes to the winning and runner-up teams.
