Pakistan Capoeira Academy (PCA)

Pakistan Capoeira Academy (PCA) is the first, official and national level Capoeira martial art academy in Pakistan, founded by Shayan Ali in February 2015, headquartered in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Shayan Ali is the first Pakistani to bring Capoeira Martial Art from Brazil to Pakistan and is officially recognized as Pioneer of Capoeira in Pakistan.

The academy was founded by the support of Brazilian Embassy in Islamabad and is affiliated with ABADA Capoeira in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil under Mestre Canguru and Mestre Camisa. In July 2016, Mestre Canguru and Mestre Camisa made Shayan Ali, the leader of "ABADA Capoeira Pakistan" at the Batizado ceremony of Shayan Ali in Brazil.


For the development and promotion of Capoeira in Pakistan, Pakistan Capoeira Academy has opened its branches in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Multan, Swat, Dera Ismail Khan, Attock and expanding in other cities of Pakistan.

Shayan Ali has also founded “Pakistan Capoeira Federation” in February 2015 for Pakistan to participate in upcoming national and international tournaments and competitions of Capoeira.

In May 2016, Pakistan Capoeira Academy has signed an MoU with National Press Club Islamabad to give FREE life time Capoeira training to media journalists and their children.
