Muhammad Ali thrashed Ahsan Siddiq by 2-0 to clinch the under-17 title in Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Development Series Championship at Union Club, Karachi.
54th SSB- STA Development Series Ranking Tennis Championship
Karachi Tennis association under the auspices of Sindh Tennis Association organized the 54th SSB – Development Series Ranking Tennis Championship at Union Club from September 29 to October 5. The Sindh Ranking championship was sponsored by Sindh Sports Board(SSB).
The events contested during the championship were men’s singles, ladies singles, juniors 17 singles, under-15, -13, -11, -9, under-7 singles, and men’s doubles.
With the technical support of Pakistan Soft Tennis Association, three junior soft tennis events in the categories of under-21 (singles and doubles) for girls and boys were also held.
Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) sent four new imported wheelchairs to Sindh Tennis Association (STA) with the support of Para Sports Pakistan for a wheelchair coaching camp during this championship.

The second championship of the development series will be held in Larkana next month by Larkana Tennis Association (LTA).These two development series tennis tournaments to be held in Karachi and Larkana is sponsored by Sindh Sports Board (SSB).
In the under-17 category, Mohammad Ali overcame stiff challenge from Ahsan Siddiqui to win the final 6-1, 7-5.
